Women Welfare & Sexual Harassment Cell

S.D. College has a commitment to its students to look after their welfare. Keeping this motive in view, the Women Welfare and Sexual Harassment Cell of the college is working tirelessly to make its girl students feel comfortable in the college premises. The Cell facilitates redressal of the grievances of girl students and immediately caters to the issues/ grievances concerning them. If girl students face any personal problem, they are always encouraged to share with the members of the concerned cell to enable them to find out an appropriate solution. The Cell also holds regular seminars to keep girls abreast of the knowledge about their personal hygiene. To facilitate girl students, the Cell has installed a sanitary napkin dispenser in the girls’ common room with the assistance of District Administration, Barnala.
